Subject: You're Invited – Summer Sports Event & Annual Sweetheart Gala!

Dear Brothers and Friends of DeMolay,

We hope this message finds you well! Please take a moment to read this exciting and important announcement from your ADA team.

For some time now, many of you have expressed a desire for a summer event — and we’re thrilled to announce that it’s finally happening!

🎉 Join us for a full day of fun and fellowship on Friday, August 30th!

🕐 Time:

Sports Event: 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Sweetheart Gala: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

📍 Locations:

Summer Sports Event: Abbey Centre, Blackfalds, AB.

Sweetheart Gala: Blackfalds Community Centre

The day will be packed with exciting sports activities, laughter, and good company. Afterward, we will transition into an evening of elegance at our beloved Annual Sweetheart Gala — an opportunity to celebrate together with great food, music, and fellowship alongside members of the Masonic family.

This event has been thoughtfully planned with you in mind, and we are genuinely excited to share this memorable experience with everyone!

💬 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where can I change into formal wear after the sports event?

A: The Blackfalds Community Centre will be open for participants to change and prepare for the Gala.

Q: What is the cost to attend the event, and how do I pay?

A: The total cost for both the Sports Day and the Sweetheart Gala is $65 per person. Payments can be made via e-transfer to demolayalberta@gmail.com.

Q: What should I bring for the sports portion of the event?

A: Please bring comfortable athletic clothing, proper footwear, and a water bottle. All sports equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.

Q: Is dinner included at the Gala?

A: Yes! A delicious dinner will be served during the Sweetheart Gala, included in the registration fee.

Q: Can I attend only one portion of the event (Sports or Gala)?

A: While we encourage everyone to join for the full day, if you are only able to attend one portion, please let an ADA team member know ahead of time for planning purposes.

 The workshop was well attended and filled with activities. It was an excellent time for the Alberta Chapters and the Saskatchewan Chapter to spend time together and have some fun. The main hall. Upon entering the hall we were greeted by the hoodie distribution team.  The resident Camp Manager instructed everyone about rules and procedures (how to flush the toilets) during our stay at Camp Warwa.
